Der Flugzeugträger S.M.S. Hohenburg-Lohe (FTN 2) ist der Führungsträger der I. Flotte und genießt nach gut 40 Jahren Dienstzeit ein ausgezeichnetes Ansehen in der gesamtem Flotte. Immer wieder im Zentrum bedeutender Seeschlachten, wurde das Schiff zum Teil schwer beschädigt.
